NOT a place for travelers! It's designed to cater to those who have boats or who fish. And pretty pricey too ($39 a night for electric and water). There's a double dump station, but when 20-30 campers leave at the same time. . . And NO wifi capability. In spite of the Internet ad advertising "cable TV" there was none. Clerk said "it washed out last year in a flood and there's a sign on the registration counter." The only game in town so sites are filled on weekends. And they don't tell you that sites share utility (electric and water) connections, so if you don't have an electrical cord extension or an additional water hose you're out of luck. Also lots of campers driving golf carts and their vehicles to/from the office (which, by the way, is primarily a bar and the staff member caters to the bar customers rather than arriving or registered campers). Speed limit is posted @ 10 mph, but it's ignored, and the one-way roads are also ignored by many. So if you like to boat on the Mississippi with your boat or pontoon "party barge" or if you like to fish, then this is definitely the place for you.
